Joelle’s River House

View was amazing. Loved the king beds for everyone. Good kitchen to prepare food. Quiet neighborhood.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful sight. The house is large with all your necessities (shampoo/ conditioner/body wash/ laundry detergent/ etc). My kids caught fish. The night is full of nature's creations. We heard and caught frogs/turtles. They provide a welcome bottle of wine and everything you need for smores.Disadvantages: It's a 25-30 minute drive to Hochatown/ Broken Bow Lake. Make sure you get all your groceries/items before you head to your cabin.Caution: We loved the staircase going down to the river to sit and fish however this could be difficult for those who are not physically able to. We did see a large snake by the deck.

Beautiful weekend getaway

Our family loved this big cabin for our spring break. We were transported from suburbia to this beautiful riverfront property. We loved the games - foosball, old arcade, blongo - and the dock. The fishing was incredible in the evening! Beds were comfy, bathrooms stocked, and kitchen had everything we needed.

Needed Peace and Quiet time

Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. The living areas are spacious and decorated beautifully. All the beds were super comfortable. We brought all the food we would need and didn’t leave our little piece of Heaven. I love sitting outside on the deck and listening to all the birds. If you love nature and want to slow down, this is the perfect place. This was a second stay with this property management. Dawnisa is great and quick to answer any questions!

Home away from home

We have stayed at Joelle’s cabin twice now. It’s absolutely stunning! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need! It is so cozy and the perfect get away! We highly recommend!

The cabin was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable and had a lot of game options for the children! My only complaint is that there was a shortage of toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels. There was 7 of us, 5 of which were girls, as you can imagine we ran out of toilet paper pretty quickly. If they would have maybe 4 extra rolls of toilet paper and 1 extra paper towel it would have been perfect. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Perfect cabin for our family of 8

Plenty of space and lots to do. We enjoyed the fire pit, games, fully stocked kitchen for cooking family meals, and fishing dock.

Everything was perfect! The host was very attentive, accommodating and quick to respond. The house was stocked wonderfully and fit us all. We will be back in the spring to fish and enjoy the river. It was beautiful and just a 20 min drive into Hochatown and the casino. The welcome basket was a nice addition too! We loved our time spent there and the memories made. Thank you!-Melody

Relaxing Fall Break

Beautiful colors of fall surrounded us on our relaxing fall break. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed family time together playing corn hole, horse shoes and fishing on the river. We rented kayaks and took a 2 hour float right by the cabin. We enjoyed the two living areas. Everyone young and old loved playing the vintage video games and fuss ball. The complementary smores and local wine was such a nice surprise. The wine was exceptionally good. It was a perfect weekend.

Perfect for a big family getaway!

Very clean inside and out! Just like the pictures it was very cozy and nice. Plenty of room to visit or find a quiet place to relax. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at Joelle's River House! The home was clean and well equipped.

We had a great stay! Check-in was an easy, and the house has what we needed — including WiFi. The back deck was a perfect place to relax, and there were plenty of activities around the property to keep everyone entertained. The river was especially nice — cool, calm, and perfect for floating or kayaking. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

If you like to be right on the river this is the place. Four bedrooms each with a king beds. Large living room and game room with plenty of space. Large back deck overlooking the river. We had a wonderful time in early June 2025. Thanks Billy J

Absolutely Beautiful!!!

My family loved the place so much. It had everything we needed. The scenery was perfect. You step out the back porch and you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the river. Definitely going to reserve again.

Great place

Had a family vacation here for 4 full days and enjoyed it, and the kids (12 and 9) had a fabulous time. We played golf at a nearby course one day, played in the yard (horse shoes, bocce ball and other games) and in the house with a full complement of electronic games, and went rafting on inner tubes close by, and then to the Broken Bow Lake for boating and jet skis—great time. The rented house had everything we needed in the way of games and cookware…just bring food. Curt F.

Great time with family

Really enjoyed our stay at Joelle cabin. scenery was beautiful. Cabin was very clean and spacious. Complimentary s’mores ingredients and bottle of wine were a special touch. We visit Broken Bow every year, sometimes twice and Joelle has been our favorite cabin so far!

Best River House!

We had a group of seven ladies that spent the weekend at this lovely river home to help celebrate one of our friend’s upcoming wedding. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the deck was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The decor for the home absolutely perfectly and the kitchen had anything we would need! One family that was with us has already booked the home to bring her family back and hopes to take more advantage of the river!

We had a wonderful weekend.

The cabin was very clean inside and out. It was furnished and decorated very nicely. The location is beautiful and relaxing. There are fun games to play inside and out. The managers were quick to respond and helpful any time we contacted them. We had a wonderful time and definitely want to return.

Amazing

I've stayed in probably 20 cabins in Hochatown and this cabin was by far my favorite! The location on the river was gorgeous. The house was beautiful and stocked with everything you need. Every detail was thought of at the property. Well done!

Nice!!

The house was very nice. Beds were nice and comfortable.It was very hot without the outside fan working nice porch with walk way to do ck. Would love to stayed longer. Or just live there!!! Lol.... we will be back!!!❤️❤️

Exactly as described!

I am always a bit skeptical when I see a cool looking place to stay on any website or through any vacation search engine. But this place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. All the appliances were in excellent working condition including the out door grill. I’d recommend this place highly as long as you are will to drive 20 or 30 minutes to town (which we were). Easy hosts to deal with and easy entry and departure instructions. Strongly recommend.

Our family loved this cabin, Seven of us stayed comfortably. The views for the desk were amazing everything you could ask for and so much more.

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for our community group retreat. Every couple had their own bedroom and space to relax. The deck overlooking the water was my favorite thing about the property :). Will be back again!

Wonderful cabin experience!

We spent Christmas at Joelle’s River House and had a perfect stay! The outdoor elements to this cabin are as amazing as the interior! It has a beautiful deck with plenty of seating, 2 grills, a fire pit and several outdoor games. The view of the river from inside the cabin is gorgeous! They have the most fully stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental and the detail touches for the holidays were beautiful and made it feel like home! Communication with the host was prompt and easy. I could not recommend this place more and we can’t wait to go back!

Great Getaway!

We have stayed at Joelle's River House several times and we will keep coming back! The cabin is always in great order when we arrive. This was our first stay to introduce this wonderful cabin by the river to our extended family for Thanksgiving. The cabin has all the amenities of home and has a well furnished kitchen in addition to multiple areas to hang out, visit, watch tv, play games, read a book, fish off the dock or cozy up to a fire inside or outside. Great place to have quality family time!

10 stars if I could! Our party of 7 loved every second at the cabin. We’d get coffee going and start the fire (with only the flip of a switch) and enjoy reading/journaling with a beautiful view of the river. With only being short drive away from the state park, we enjoyed hiking and other Broken Bow things during the day and cooked ourselves dinner in the most well-stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Even had a hand mixer to use for my pie for our Friendsgiving! Beds were all insanely comfortable — we left very well rested. This place is a steal for what you’re getting. Counting down the days until we can come back!

You could not ask for a more beautiful place to stay! The decor was amazing, great detail! VERY clean!! The view of the river is great!! Such a great host as well!! Just can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was!

BEAUTIFUL property!!

We've been travelling to Broken Bow/Beavers Bend for about 20 years now. We have always wanted a rental that sits right on the water but have never been able to find one available. This rental sits right on a river and has beautiful views from inside the house. The drive to Hochatown and to Beavers Bend was not bad at all (approximately 25 minutes) Absolutely worth the drive to have the views that we had! The home is beautiful and had a king sized bed in each room. The pilot light went out on our fireplace and they sent someone right over to take care of it. We highly recommend this rental for anyone looking!

Our stay was better than expected.

My group went to Broken Bow for the hiking experience and to enjoy the outdoors. The property was clean, decor was cozy,kitchen was stocked with any sort of plate, silver, pan, utensils, pots you may need. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and storage for personal items. Many outdoor comfortable seating areas to gather. The river views were spectacular. We right on it. After our hike everyday we were happy to head back to Joelle cabin to play corn hole, card games, and relax. Nice place to b.

Best Time Ever- Couples Retreat

Such a beautiful property with plenty to do! We enjoyed fishing, outside games: horseshoe, cornhole, and other activities. The deck over looks the lake( what an awesome view)! The cabin provided inside game boards and activities as well. We are planning to visit again this year when it’s a bit cooler lol. There is plenty to do in Broken Bow! We are looking forward to revisiting.

Absolutely Amazing !!!!

Joelle’s is amazing . This is the second time we have stayed there . Vey well stocked kitchen . Everything is top notch . The view is incredible. Everything is fine with excellence. We highly recommend this place , you won’t be disappointed . The dock is amazing. Indoor and outdoor games . Comfortable beds . No complaints at all. I recommend this place to my friends .

Amazing Stay!

Cabin was equipped with everything you can imagine. Beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was so nice. Kids loved the game room. Lots of room and plenty of room to eat outside at night even with a big group. Management is very nice and accommodating on all aspects. Have booked with them before and will continue to do so anytime I stay in Broken Bow.

A Great place to relax and unwind with a group and definitely Couples!

We enjoyed our stay with 3 other couples!! Very Beautiful and relaxing… The only thing I wish I had prepared more with,was bringing my own paper towels and tissue. They provide some but if you plan on cooking, paper towels are a must! Besides that the place is definitely somewhere we would return!!!!!

Our stay was everything we needed and more! From the time we arrived to this beautiful cabin, we felt right at home. We took advantage of the nice kitchen to cook an early Thanksgiving dinner and had a blast with all of the outdoor amenities/games. We enjoyed how private the house was, how cozy the beds were, and the view from the back deck! We were never lacking and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you for helping us with a much needed break and a wonderful time with our family.

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, well stocked, and looked as good as advertised. It feels like a newly remodeled home and is set on the bank of a beautiful river. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are updated, and playroom with foosball table is delightful!
