luxury in the mountains. We came for a week before the new school year starts as a last trip of the summer. Right away the amount of effort and creativity that was put into building and designing this cabin was evident and stunning. The cabin was immaculate. I felt like I was in $1 million home for sure. The amount of extra details for example, the master bath has tile that is heated to your preference for your feet. There was a rack to heat your towels and many more extra touches like this all over the place. And the kitchen !…..I don’t even know where to start. It has everything you could ever want . My teenagers absolutely loved the guestroom apartment, they had a blast in their own home for the week. The river was amazing fished all week, water is so clear when the river isn’t moving fast that you can see straight to the bottom. The wildlife was present and very hard not to notice, if you’re a family that loves convenience with nature this is the place to go.

To start off the house was amazing and we had a great time. Would definitely rent again. Pros: Your literally steps from the river and it’s beautiful. The river is clean crystal clear in most places. You can fish, swim, kayak, float. The property has something for everyone at every age. The house is very well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. Cons: Really only thing is the drive in to house. It’s only 30min drive to town but 20min of that is getting out of property where house is located and road is rough. If someone else is driving in you have to hope your in a spot where someone can move over because only one vehicle fits on road if not someone is gonna have to reverse until you reach a spot you can move over. Road has a lot of drop offs so slow careful driving is a must. Other than that only thing I could mention is bugs/wildlife. Obviously as secluded as this property is that should be a given but there are creepy crawlers everywhere and one night we made mistake of leaving plastic bag with trash outside and raccoons got ahold of tore it up and left trash everywhere but that was are fault. All that being said still would not stop me from staying again.

Great peaceful getaway.
This house was perfect for our family of four. A peaceful getaway far from any traffic. My boys fished off the floating dock while I relaxed on the covered porch. Fully stocked kitchen was great and we enjoyed the game room spending time together as a family. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. Views of the river were great. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was very roomy-lots of space and a huge closet in the master bath. We would definitely come back.

Tranquility with perfection
My wife and kids wanted to return to Broken Bow for some peace and quiet time. We were looking for a place that we could relax and have fun together. Chillin on the River exceeded our expectations and by far is the best place that we have visited since coming to Broken Bow years ago. This is definitely going to be our go to place in the future. Everything was perfect, and they made it super easy to plug right in. I would give it my highest marks of recommendation!

Beautiful cabin, very clean, fabulous kitchen!
The property was perfect for a family vacation. The area is remote, away from BB traffic. As a past cabin owner who loves the area but tired of the traffic of Hotchatown, this is a perfect location.

This house was just beautiful and very comfortable. The setting was so serene, so quiet and the river was right out the back door. The kitchen was amazing and state of the art. The bathrooms were so luxurious with heated floors and heated towel racks. The deck on the back had a great view of the river and was so comfortable to just relax on. We saw deer, armadillos, beavers, wild pigs and lots of squirrels. No Saskwatch though!

This was one of the most beautiful properties we've ever stayed. Everything was at it's place including the outdoors. The location was well picked and the home was well decorated and built. The home had lots of modern premium appliances and decor that makes us feel the luxury. The host was available at a call. The blending of the property with the nature was the best of it. Will return to this one again.

Thanksgiving 2025!
*"Our stay at Chillin on the River was everything we hoped for and more. We spent Thanksgiving week there with our family, and the cabin was exactly as described—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. Its remote location made it the perfect escape to unplug and enjoy some quiet time together. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the décor was both cozy and inviting. We would absolutely return to this wonderful retreat!"*

We Chilled Well ;-)
Chillin' on the River is an appropriate name for this beautiful property. It backs up to the river right out your back door with access to the water via a dock and you can get right down to the water too via a steep ramp. We enjoyed sitting on the back wrap around porch in the back drinking coffee. The area is well hidden and very secure with the last couple of miles gravel roads keeping it away from the outside world and very secure behind a locked gated road. Follow the directions given to you on the email for the last couple of turns (not gps as it will take you to a road that may be blocked by a train crossing).
The game room was lots of fun for the whole family. We played pool, ping pong and other games in the spacious game room where there were two comfortable bunk beds (full size mattress bottoms/single bed tops on each bunk) and above that on the second floor a private queen bedroom suite. Adjacent to this was the main part of the house where there are two large bedroom suites, kitchen, beautiful living room that overlooks the river with large glassed-in wall.
We sat at the fire pit at night and talked and did smores. There is a charcoal grill outside as well. The area is heavily wooded and lots of wildlife and easy access to all you would want to do in Broken Bow and the surrounding area. The house is modern and beautiful. We did try to fish each day but never got any bites from the dock but still enjoyed the beautiful river.
The kitchen is well stocked with spices. utensils, etc. and large with everything you would want for cooking. There is a coffee maker with regular and pod coffee. The main house is elevated up a few easy rise stairs (seen in the picture and the back stairs are similar). If you are limited in your ability to walk upstairs (i.e. need a walker or wheelchair), then would not recommend this property but no issue if you are ambulatory otherwise.
The night sky reveals bright star lit skies through the trees and the place is very quiet with zero road noise as it is off the beaten path. Bedding was very comfortable, and the house has everything you would want.
If you desire a private, beautiful, modern get away that is still close enough to the action this place would be perfect.

Great stay
This is our 2nd stay with Mt Fork Management and they do not dissapoint. They think of everything! Place is clean and well supplied. This stay was an end of summer hang out for my teenage daughter and her friends. Plenty of things to do so they never got bored. Neighbors were friendly and helpful with pointers regarding the river. Management was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. We are looking forward to the next stay!

Peaceful location with no noise or traffic and the lake view behind the cabin was a total bonus.
Perfect spot to relax and disconnect. Would definitely stay again!
